Michelle Williams isn't only an amazing actress (let me remind you about My Week With Marilyn), but she also got the most flawless skin. That perfectly glowing and fresh complexion can seem impossible to achieve if you weren't born with it, but there are a few shortcuts that can get you pretty far. Here are the products (and techniques!) that will take you almost all the way.
To begin with, never ever go to bed with your makeup still on! Wash your face daily and moisturize, as well a try to drink loads of water and eat your five a days (yes, I'm talking about them veggies). With that in mind, let's continue to the fun bit of this post.
Before you apply any makeup, make sure that your skin is clean and moisturized. After that, begin with applying a primer. We at Darccy like the "That Gal" brightening face primer from Benefit, as it gives your face a little glow without becoming shiny. Always let your skin rest a good five minutes between your facial cream and your primer, to ensure that it has been absorbed before you start your makeup routine. To get some cover we use Kiehl's Skin Tone Correcting & Beautifying BB Cream (SPF 50). It protects your face as well as it treats it during the day without becoming heavy. To get some definition, sculpt your face with Make Up Forever's Sculpting Kit. Apply some shadow beneath your jawbone, cheekbones and in your temples as well as along your hairline. Also, to make your nose look slightly slimmer and straighter, you can apply some shadow along the sides of and underneath your nose. Take some of the highlight and apply on the middle of your forehead and along the nose as well as on your cheekbones and your chin. To finish this look of, sweep some blush on your cheeks to get a rosy glow and add some shimmering highlighter on the top of your cheekbones and underneath your brows - we prefer I.D. Bare Minerals Cream Blush in "Aubergine" and Benefit's Highlighter "Girl Meets Pearl". And it's as easy as that! Then continue with the rest of your makeup routine as usual.
